GENCLO SP is a fixed-dose combination containing Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase, classified as Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It is primarily used to reduce pain and inflammation caused by bone or soft tissue injuries, postoperative inflammation, edema (swelling due to fluid accumulation), and various types of musculoskeletal pain. Aceclofenac works by blocking the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase (COX), which is responsible for causing pain and swelling in damaged tissues. Paracetamol acts as a mild pain reliever and fever reducer, boosting the pain relief effect of aceclofenac. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that breaks down fibrin, a protein formed during blood clotting at injury sites. This action thins the fluid around swollen tissues, improving drainage and reducing swelling.

Pain can be acute (temporary) or chronic (long-lasting) and may arise from injuries, nerve damage, osteoarthritis, or post-surgical trauma. GENCLO SP is effective for managing various painful conditions involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones, helping to relieve pain and speed up recovery.
