Description

Otrigen Nasal Drop contains Xylometazoline, a decongestant used for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion (blocked or stuffy nose) caused by colds, allergies, sinusitis, or hay fever. Nasal congestion occurs when blood vessels inside the nose become inflamed and swollen due to infection, allergens, or irritants, leading to blocked airflow and discomfort. Xylometazoline belongs to the class of vasoconstrictors, which work by narrowing the small blood vessels in the nasal passages. This action reduces swelling and congestion, allowing easier breathing.

Otrigen Nasal Drop provides fast, temporary relief by decongesting the nasal passages and clearing excess mucus. It is commonly used in cases of allergic rhinitis, sinus infections, and the common cold. By shrinking the swollen blood vessels, Xylometazoline helps open up the nasal airways and improves airflow, making it easier for users to breathe comfortably through the nose. This medication is suitable for short-term use and should be used exactly as directed.

Medicial Benefits

Otrigen Nasal Drop with Xylometazoline provides fast and effective relief from nasal congestion caused by the common cold, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and hay fever. As a decongestant and antihistamine, Xylometazoline reduces inflammation and swelling in the nasal passages by narrowing blood vessels (vasoconstriction). This action relieves a blocked nose and promotes easier breathing. It also helps reduce sneezing and runny nose by blocking the action of histamines that cause allergic reactions.
